"Art is unique, Art is interpreted, Art is subjective, Art is what we give meaning
to." One of the closest people in my life described art like this and I will
never view it the same. Art, whether it be from the simplest photo to the
most grandeur piece of cinema, needs subjectivity to thrive. I strive to
have a multitude of meanings available in my work even if they hold
a specific idea to myself. I want my creativity to permeate the minds
of any viewer that comes across it and cause them to feel some type
of way, even if it is negative. I view my creations in the same way that
I view myself: "Other people may say whatever they want about me
and will be correct based on their own viewpoint, interests, and history,
but everything I stand for has a specific meaning to myself that will never
be broken even if those people do not see it the same way."
